As a public charter middle school in Antioch, we provide rigorous and culturally responsive instruction while nurturing meaningful relationships that support each student’s growth.
At Opportunity Academy, academic learning is intentionally paired with strong social-emotional and mental health supports. Students benefit from two guidance counselors and regular social-emotional learning time that helps them build self-awareness, resilience, and healthy relationships during a critical stage of development.
Our teachers provide engaging instruction that honors students’ lived experiences and builds strong foundations in literacy, math, and critical thinking. Beyond academics, Opportunity Academy offers music learning and a variety of afterschool clubs that enrich students’ experiences and allow them to explore interests, build community, and develop leadership skills.
